Who We Are

Mission

Prayer.Justice.Network is a virtual prayer ministry designed for the Body of Christ to unite under the banner of racial reconciliation to advance Biblical righteousness, healing, and justice as a means of bridging divisions within the Body of Christ.

Vision

To raise up intercessors to dismantle strongholds of racism, prejudice, discrimination, and dead religion (traditions) through the power of Biblical righteousness, healing, and justice so that the Body of Christ may be unified and fully equipped to be salt and light in the earth.

Breakdown of Definitions

  •  Righteousness: Reflects God’s character and standard (Matthew 6:33, Amos 5:24)
  • Healing: Speaks to emotional, relational, and spiritual restoration (Isaiah 61:1, Psalm 147:3)
  • Justice: God’s heart for equity and the oppressed (Micah 6:8, Isaiah 1:17)
  • Strongholds: Spiritual systems of oppression (2 Corinthians 10:4)
  • Salt and Light: Jesus’ command to influence the world with truth and love (Matthew 5:13–16)

Principles

The Prayer.Justice.Network is committed to advancing reconciliation within the Body of Christ by pursuing racial justice through social justice principles that are firmly grounded in the Biblical values of righteousness, equity, and justice.

On-Going Self-Evaluation

A commitment to humility and repentance, regularly examining one’s actions, biases, and complicity with injustice.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23–24

Access & Accessibility

Ensuring that all people, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance, can fully participate in community life, opportunities, resources, and systems. This includes removing physical, social, economic, and systemic barriers so that everyone has equitable access to what they need to thrive.

God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.” Acts 10:34–35

Participation & Sharing Power

Engaging in mutual and inclusive decision-making by intentionally creating space for others, especially those who are marginalized, to contribute their voices, gifts, and leadership.

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4–5

Giving Voice

Ensuring the marginalized are heard, respected.

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” Isaiah 1:17

Consciousness Raising

Promoting awareness of sin and injustice.

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Focus on Strengths of Individuals, Groups, and Communities

Recognizing and building on the God-given gifts and resilience of every person and community.

Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’ So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:26–27

Equity

Providing resources based on need.

What should we do then?’ the crowd asked. John answered, ‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’” Luke 3:10–11

Accountability

Holding institutions, such as spiritual institutions, and individuals responsible for addressing injustice.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

Solidarity

Standing with oppressed groups in their struggle for justice, even when not personally affected.

“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison,
and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3
